Adele ampa heshima Beyonce kwenye Grammy ‘Nakuhusudu, natamani ungekuwa mama yangu’

   

Adele amempa heshima kubwa Queen Bey kwenye tuzo za Grammy.

Baada ya kuchukua tuzo zote kubwa za usiku huo, Song, Record, na Album of the Year — muimbaji huyo wa Uingereza alimwelezea Beyonce kama idol wake.

Wakati akipokea tuzo ya Record of the Year, Adele aliangalia kwenye watu waliokuwa wakimuangalia na alipomuona Beyonce alisema, “My dream and my idol is Queen Bey. I adore you. You move my soul and you have done for nearly 17 years. I adore you and I want you to be my mummy.”

Aliendelea, “I can’t possibly accept this award. I’m very humbled, and very grateful, and very gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé. This album to me, the LEMONADE album, was so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental, well thought-out, beautiful, and soul baring, and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that. All us artists here adore you. You are our light.”

Beyoncé, akiwa amesimama karibu na mumewe Jay Z Jay Z, alimsikiliza Adele huku akilengwa na machozi ya furaha. “The way you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering. You make them stand up for themselves and I love you. I always have and I always will,” aliongeza Adele.

Kutokana na hii, imedaiwa kuwa muimbaji huyo aliigawanisha tuzo yake ya album ya mwaka katika vipande viwili na kumpa Beyoncé.
